Bio
Hello, my name is Kent Ulrich, and I have made it my mission to help others navigate the complexities of life through compassion, understanding, and the use of evidence-based psychology practices. I firmly believe that everyone has the potential to become the best version of themselves through therapy, which serves as a powerful tool for healing, growth, and the pursuit of personal goals. It would be my privilege to share that journey with you!

My personal journey to becoming a therapist has shown me that asking for help is often one of the most challenging experiences one can face. By confronting my own struggles and admitting my faults, I have successfully overcome significant challenges in my life. This first-hand experience taught me the vital importance of having support during difficult times, and it inspires me to facilitate positive change in the lives of others.

I am a recent graduate of a master’s in Clinical Psychology that trained me in a variety of evidence-based techniques and practices for working with clients. My personal approach to therapy blends the deep empathy and non-judgmental approach of Person-Centered Therapy with evidence based therapeutic techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have had the opportunity to gain experience in the community in working with the mandated population, in the school systems, with community individuals, and even with underserved populations. I have found through these experiences that therapy is a place for everyone and anyone and there is a wide range of reasons to seek support.

When I am not counseling, I seek to continue my academic career at the doctoral level where I attend classes to help further my education and increase the ways I can be of help to you. In my personal time I adore reading anything from comedy books to suspense and thrillers, painting, and spending time with my family and friends where time allows.
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope I get the chance to meet you.
